エコな製品をただ使うだけでは、ユーザーは環境問題に貢献している実感がもてない。そこで貝印は、新たに開発した紙製ハンドルのカミソリを、あえて組み立て式にしました。

組み立て式にすることでユーザーの手間を増やし、環境問題に取り組んでいる体験時間をデザイン。「手間=解決すべき課題」という当たり前を覆し、「手間=貴重な関与体験」と再定義したのです。

Using eco-friendly products alone often fails to give users a genuine feeling of contributing to environmental efforts. To address this, Kaijirushi created a razor featuring a newly developed paper handle that users assemble themselves.

By making it a DIY assembly product, they intentionally added a bit of effort to the experience, turning the act of caring for the environment into a meaningful, hands-on process. The company challenged the usual notion that “hassle is a problem to be avoided,” redefining it instead as “hassle is a valuable experience of engagement.”
